The Rotary Club of Ajax is once again hosting its Annual Classic Charity tournament at Sunnybrae Golf Club, 1430 King St in Prince Albert, ON on Wednesday, 25 September starting at 1 PM for registration. Shotgun start at 2pm. The $125 per golfer fee covers both greens fees and the subsequent steak or chicken dinner. Non golfers can sign up for the dinner alone for $60. The Audley Road clean-up will occur on October 5 from 9:00-noon. Join a team of Rotary members and volunteers as we do our semi annual cleanup of Audley Road between Rossland and Taunton. Please meet in the parking lot of the Audley Road Recreation Centre at 8:45 to pick up your bags and a vest. Make sure to wear comfortable waterproof shoes/boots and gloves. Please let Past President Bruce know as soon as possible if you intend to assist. |

ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 18, 2024 - 06:00 pm to 8:15 pm - the 10 Durham Region Rotary Clubs (plus the Rotary Club of Port Hope) invite YOU to join us LIVE IN-PERSON OR LIVE ON-LINE in the Rotary Global Classroom in the Centre for Collaborative Education at Durham College where we will celebrate World Polio Day with leaders from around the world, hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Oshawa and Oshawa-Parkwood, and Durham College.
JOIN US LIVE IN PERSON STARTING AT 5:45 PM - ONLY 100 SEATS AVAILABLE: REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON : Cash bar and a light lunch will be served. Giving the Gift of Comfort and Joy. The Great Pajama Project (TGPP) - collects and donates new pajamas to the Durham Children's Aid Foundation for inclusion in the Foundation's annual Holiday Hope hampers. These hampers provide gifts, meals, and crucial support to Durham Region families, ensuring that this holiday season is one of hope and joy. The Rotary Club of Ajax is holding an open house at the Ajax Public Library in support of TGPP and hopes to collect pajamas for family members of all sizes. Pajamas must be new.
We encourage Durham Region residents to bring comfort and joy this holiday season to families who are in urgent need.
Pajamas will be accepted in the meeting room directly adjacent to the foyer of the Main Branch of the Ajax Public Library on December 7 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
