Entice family members and friends to join you in drinking some wine, having some fun and making cheese with the Ajax Rotary. A professional cheesemaker will show you how to make “urban” mozzarella cheese in your own kitchen.

Entice family members and friends to join you in drinking some wine, having some fun and making cheese with the Ajax Rotary. A professional cheesemaker will show you how to make “urban” mozzarella cheese in your own kitchen.
Each batch gives you about 1 pound of cheese. That translates into about 6-10 medium sized mozzarella balls. (Each batch is based on 4 litres of milk). You should be able to feed about 5+ people for each batch.

Time: 3-4:40pm
Cost: $90 - $80 without alcohol – for approximately 2-4 people
Cost Includes: Cheesemaking kit, teaching zoom call, 4L of non-homogenized milk, bottle of water (500ml), alcohol and delivery to your door within Pickering, Ajax, Whitby (if you are outside this you are welcome to still join but pick-up of kits is in Ajax on the day-of due to milk refrigeration).
*BONUS* You will be entered into a draw for a free cheesemaking kit!
You will need:
- **BE AVAILABLE March 18th between 12- 6pm to receive your shipment, it has milk and it will spoil! ** Make sure you have room in your fridge for the milk!
- Utensils (stove, 4L pot, slotted spoon, cutting board, knife, measuring cups/spoons, large bowl, colander, 2 soup spoons)
Choice of Alcohol:
- One bottle of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
- Or One bottle of red wine (Kipling Ridge Pinot Noir)
- Or 2 beers (Falcon Brewery Bomb Girls Blonde)
The kit includes: Cheese Cloth, Milk thermometer, Microbial (Vegetarian Rennet), Citric Acid, Fine Salt, Recipe Booklet
