The town of Ajax is holding its annual volunteer fair this year at Audley Community Centre.  The Rotary Club of Ajax will be among those there looking for volunteers and potential members.

The spring Audley Road clean-up , scheduled for Satueday April 25, has been cancelled because of a forecast for rainy weather. The event will be rescheduled to a future date - check the website for the announcenent of the new date.

Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30 pm at south end of paved  parking lot will be gathering place for 'walk around' of Rib Fest site (Ajax Downs - 50 Alexander Crossing - Enter from Lights on Kingston Road).  Rene encouraged everyone to attend and there was mention of a complimentary liquid refreshment at the end of the tour!!

Our new President Dale will present his plans and priorities for the coming rotary year.

Every year the club stages a special event to recognize the High School students who were awarded bursaries from the Rotary Club of Ajax.  

This year's recognition event will feature a number of this year's recipient who will join us to tell their stories. 

Menu will be a selection of soups, salads and sandwiches, along with dessert and coffee and tea and water

As with lunch meetings, the cost wlll be $25 for members.

Note: with this event, I am introducing an automated registration function.  Members may use this in lieu of responding by email.  

The Rotry club of ajax celebrates those awarded club bursaries.

The summere Audley Road clean-up will occur on 15 August 2026 from 9:00-noon (rain date:  22 August 2026).  Join a team of Rotary members and volunteers as we do our semi annual cleanup of Audley Road between Rossland and Taunton.  

Please meet in the parking lot of the Audley Road Recreation Centre at 8:45 to pick up your bags and a vest.  Make sure to wear comfortable waterproof shoes/boots and gloves.  Please let Past President Bruce know as soon as possible if you intend to assist.

This year, the club is holding its 22nd annual golf event at Spring Creek Golf course. 

"Shotgun" start.

Both golfers and volunteers are sought to participate in this event. 

Cost is $140 for golf (includes cart) and dinner; $70 for dinner alone.

Infomal Social Event at The Edge Lounge in Ajax (250 Bayly St. W., Ajax). Comfortable Seating, Free Billiards, Great Cocktails, Live Music later in the Evening. There is a $10 charge to attend.

This year's walk will take place at 179 Saskatoon Avenue Campbellford, ON on Sep. 27, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

As this location is some distance from Ajax, we are organizing car pooling.  Please let Ken know if you are driving or would like a ride.
